There is something very beautiful about the snow; the way it falls from the sky reminds me of grace. It is quite inconvenient, making my feet cold in my shoes, making the machines cold and harder than usual to work with. At the same time, I can't help but be in awe of it. I am more glad than ever that I managed to acquire a promotion, and now have a shower inside of my house. Walking through the cold while wet would probably be fairly unpleasant. I am glad to see that the paintball event is over, though. All of that senseless violence, people running around bruising each other for the sake of money. The flag element was interesting, but I most certainly think it increased the violence. Tags: event: capture the flag, event: paintball, myself: employment, the sphere: nature

The paper factory held up surprisingly well against the sudden attack of "zombies," much to my surprise. I suppose it is because there is a lot of cover for me and my fellow workers to hold them off; we then evacuated down to the wilderness, though I am concerned for the machinery. I do hope the zombies keep from destroying everything. We brought down quite a bit of unbound paper, though, and are currently storing it, though I don't exactly remember where (but will, when I look it up.) As for the wilderness, I must say that I am quite pleased with the recent transformation. I have been spending most of time at the Venetian with Sushi, using odds to our advantage. Well, today I went outside to discover two things: One: I was in a.... vehicle. Though I have to say it takes much less time to get to the marketplace and the paper factory, I am a little concerned about how it is going to do over some of the less stable bridges, and that does unfortunately throw somewhat of a broken cog into my plans for the next couple of weeks. This is unfortunate, to say the least. Two: it was a little cooler. Tenko, I much enjoyed lunch with you. We should do it again sometime. Thone, are you still up for exploring the red island? I know we've been putting this off because of the heat, and I'm unsure if, ah, vehicle is the best way to do it, but it would be nice to know if you are still planning for this sort of thing, so I could plan for it as well. I know it's far, but I'm sure we're both capable. Still no sign of Gorgonzola..... I heard from Drake at all lately, either. Has anyone see much of him? The water park is quite a relief, as is the rain, to such oppressive heat. I'm glad to say that the crockery in my house that was broken has been replaced. It is a good thing I have so few valuables, I suppose. When it rains, I spend my time outside. It seems I've several wet journal pages because of this, but right now it's simply blazingly hot and dry. Throne, are you still interested in going out to the red island with me? It is quite an adventure, yes, but I think you and I are capable of doing it. We once were, after all, the top students in the class. But perhaps some of us have been slacking lately? All of us? It's something to think about. In other news, my pot pie turned to cherry pie, and my glasses turned from plastic to glass. Another one of those strange fishbowl things? Some other reason?
